Old News - 2003

01 Oct. 2003 On Saturday 20th of September Rod Myers broke another club record.

On Sunday 21st of September Rod died in the Royal Berkshire Hospital due to head injuries sustained after coming off his bike on the A4 during the Hounslow & District 25.

I think it's fair to say that none of us can really believe that this has happened.

Rod, who at 71 was no spring chicken, was a great athlete who just seemed to get better and better.

On behalf of the Middlesex Road Club, may I just offer our condolences to his family.
